1st GIMLA Conference Global Power Reconfigurations The first GIMLA Conference approaches Global Power Reconfigurations and their opportunities and challenges for Latin America. The event will take place at the University of São Paulo (USP) on April 4, 2019. The keynote speaker is Prof. Simon Evenett (University of St.Gallen), who will discuss global power reconfigurations from the perspective of international trade with a special focus on Chinese commercial and investment relations with other emerging countries such as Brazil. Following his lecture, renowned Brazilian professors from partner universities (USP and FGV) will participate in round table discussions to interactively debate questions with the audience.
